Treat yourself well

Your surroundings affect you. The people, all those strangers you meet on random streets. What they do, say, wear. Quit trying to ignore people's opinions ― we all are perfectly aware on how they will always *undeniably* bring significant impacts to us.

Everyone wants to look cool, where smarter people wants to look effortlessly cool. Admit, admit, subtle cool is still cool. Sadly, coolness isn't something you can Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V (booyah!). But chill, there is nothing wrong with this, especially if you are really just born with the perfect 10 points of personality and appearance ― THEN you can get away with everything. But for the unfortunate rest, you've got one message in your mailbox: "Do not try too hard."

Each person has a different perspective of seeing the world and its inhabitants, as well as having different taste, preference, likes/dislikes and so on.

Be what you want to be. As simple as it might seems, if ever you find any difficulties in doing it, the key is to do the things that makes you happy. Be happy. Eat your chocolate. Visit the beach. Spend your money on shopping (just not too much). Watch your favorite tv show. Go to a pet store. Treat yourself well.

Point is, you wouldn't wear just anybody's pair of shoes just because they look awesome. You need to find your size so that you can walk properly. And you will look fine. Even probably awesome. (It depends on how big your smile is.)

I agree. We strive for betterment so much that we forgot to enjoy the ride up there. I am that way too most of the time, and now looking back, I wish I could just ctrl z (aha!) all of that sweat I pour out for trying too hard. The shoes allegory is wonderful, btw. Smile big and smile lots, Bex!
